Develop and maintain partnerships with leadership to establish and execute on the site’s People strategy in support of meeting the site’s goals. Attract, retain, develop and motivate talent for the site.  Within a matrixed environment, support the local business and implement global HR initiatives.  Execute on HR strategies, talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, workforce planning and employee engagement activities.  Provide coaching to employees, handle employee relations matters and drive deployment of resources in support of business needs.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Develop and maintain partnerships with all levels of leadership to support meeting their strategic goals from an HR Perspective.  Work with business leaders to establish a workforce plan, monitoring headcount and budget controls.

 

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the business’ PEO partner for HR-related matters. Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained in compliance with the PEO and legal requirements.

 

  1. Validate and reconcile payroll data with PEO partner and ensure accuracy when compared to financial records. 

 

  1. Drive and manage the Talent Acquisition process to meet staffing requirements. Partner with management to create and implement recruitment strategies, screening of candidates, interviewing and selecting talent for the site. Develop and manage external staffing agency relationships to provide contingent staffing requirements as needed by the business.

 

  1. Plan and lead the talent review and succession planning programs. Identify key talent and successors for critical roles, training, development and advancement opportunities. Coordinate training programs as needed.

 

  1. Plan and execute on Global HR initiatives; performance management, talent management, compensation planning, engagement surveys and total rewards strategies.

 

  1. Manage employee relations including coaching, counseling employees and leadership on issues. Lead investigations, document findings, consult with legal as needed and recommend a course of action to managers and/or supervisors in a fair and timely manner.

 

  1. Create metrics and utilize HR analytics to help the business make informed people decisions.

 

  1. Manage the site’s employee engagement activities, including wellness and recognition events, to provide and promote a positive and engaging culture.

 

  1. Manage and develop HR policies and practices to comply with the applicable local, state and federal laws.

 

  1. Perform other duties as assigned.
