Ashvattha Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel nanomedicines, HD therapeutics (HDTs), to treat unmet medical needs in ophthalmology, neurology, inflammatory diseases and neuro-oncology. The Position

The Senior Analytical Development Scientist II will serve as a key member of our team, working on-site full-time, in our Redwood City laboratory, focusing on novel early and late-phase programs. Responsibilities will include:

·       Design, Develop and Implement platform test methodologies for small molecule characterization, dendrimer characterization and analytical test feasibility supporting and partnering with colleagues in our Chemistry, Translational and CMC departments

·       Support Analytical Method transfer to CDMOs for development and clinical programs.

·       Author and review analytical sections for regulatory submissions (e.g. IND, IMPD, NDA)

·       Maintain analytical laboratory including equipment calibration.

·       Drafting of Analytical Methods and writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

 

Who You Are

·       You have a Ph.D with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.  

·       Deep Expertise in HPLC, SEC-MALS, NMR Spectroscopy for small molecules and polymers is required. Knowledge of and experience with LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, atomic absorption spectrophotometer is a plus.

·       Hands on experience with analytical method development and qualification, release test, and stability programs is a necessity.

·       Individuals with experience with highly potent cytotoxic active pharmaceutical ingredients is preferred.

·       Understanding of lab management and experience in managing an internal analytical Laboratory is required.
