Ashvattha Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel hydroxyl dendrimer (HD) therapeutics (HDTs) to treat unmet medical needs in oncology, ophthalmology, and inflammatory diseases. We believe that HDTs will become the future of targeted therapeutics and unlock new levels of patient care.


The Role

The successful candidate will play an integral role in Ashvattha's supply chain execution. Partnering with and reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, they will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and knowledge on drug development related material value chain international logistics and execution. They will oversee the logistics, inventory and procurement to ensure on time in full material delivery, including documentation completeness and traceability. They will be operating under international GxP guidelines regulated environment, They will work closely with our contracted suppliers as well as downstream cross-function customers, with the opportunity to be the point of contact liaison with ownership to vendor and customer relationships. They will oversee the day to day activities (transportation, budgets and accruals, inventory control, import/export, cold chain logistics) in accordance with applicable SOPs, policies and national/international regulatory guidelines. The logistics associate will also participate in raw material, consumable and commercial medication procurement, clinical trial material packaging, labeling and global distribution. Their input will be solicitated in departmental infrastructure and tools, SOPs and work instructions, KPI matrix etc. to facilitate process improvement, cost savings and business continuity.  They will work closely with our high performing internal cross-functional team and thrive in a fast-paced environment focused not only on results but personal development and growth.


Key Deliverables


The key goals for this role are to support the execution of Ashvattha's supply chain logistics. Specifically, to support the achievement of the 2022 Corporate goals through ensuring that :


1. appropriate transportation vendor and service level per transportation requirement, e.g. Cold Chain, Dangerous Goods, Regulated pharmaceutical necessities etc.

2. Coordinate and monitor global distribution, including import/ export activities

3. Manage distribution and shipment budgets, purchase orders and accruals

4. Support global raw material, consumable and commercial medicine procurement


Skills & Experience


B.S. Degree in a related discipline.  Knowledge of FDA/EMA Regulations, ICH Guidelines, and GMP


 Ability to build positive working relationship with external partners and internal colleagues


 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment


 Ability to manage complex activities through a systematic approach


 


Please note, candidates must be able to work on site at our Redwood City office a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
