The Role

We are seeking a Senior Scientist with a strong background and experience in cell and molecular biology for developing in vitro based platforms and assays for evaluating the efficacy of pipeline targets. The selected candidate will contribute technical expertise and scientific knowledge towards the development of dendrimer nanotherapeutics against a variety of targets in cancer and inflammatory diseases. The candidate will lead our biological research program: propose novel therapeutic targets, develop and execute experiments, and transform insights from the laboratory into Ashvattha's broader objectives of improving dendrimer drug therapeutics. As a Senior Scientist in the Biology team at Ashvattha, the candidate will drive the advancement of our broad dendrimer based drug discovery pipeline, leading the biology efforts for our drug discovery programs.

Key Deliverables

Lead biology activities for discovery projects. Oversee the project activities at Contract Research Organizations and/or with academic collaborators. Design and execute experiments that contribute to the advancement of discovery programs by developing cell-based assays and in-vivo studies to evaluate efficacy and distribution of lead candidates.

Core Skills and Knowledge Required

Extensive knowledge and experience performing and developing cell assays used in a preclinical settings. Well versed with immunohistochemistry techniques, ELISA, western blotting, qPCR, fluorescence microscopy
