Ashvattha Therapeutics LLC is a biopharmaceutical company developing products for the unmet medical needs utilizing a novel dendrimer technology exclusively licensed from Johns Hopkins University.

The Position

We are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our research and development wing and contribute to our rapidly expanding portfolio of therapeutic products. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, creative, and productive individual with a strong background and experience in cell and molecular biology for developing in vitro based platforms and protocol for evaluating the efficacy of pipeline candidates that are developed for a wide range of therapeutic areas. The main responsibilities of this position are to provide in vitro support and design and perform cell culture experiments to support pipeline verification and clinical translation. The candidate will assist in planning and conducting in vitro evaluation of compounds working closely with Principal Scientist. Potential candidate will also have chance to learn analytical techniques such as HPLC for evaluating the compounds for stability and drug release. Candidate should have hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, such as RT-qPCR, Western Blot, ELISA and cell culture (primary and immortalized cell lines). Experience with immunohistochemistry and confocal imaging is a plus.

Job Requirements

·       BS with 5 years of experience or a MS with 3 years experience in cell and molecular biology, bioengineering/biomedical engineering or relevant field.  Must have hands-on laboratory experience along with proficiency with cell culture techniques, especially as they relate to pharmaceutical quality and efficacy.

·       Experience in in vitro analyses of polymer/dendrimer-drug conjugates, peptide/antibody conjugates, hydrogels, protein and/or other biomolecules

·       Hands-on experience in PCR, Western Blots and ELISA.

·       Experience with in vitro method development and validation requirements to support nonclinical studies and early stage clinical programs.
