SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, creative problem-solver to serve as Residency Coordinator. The Residency Coordinator will work closely with the Managing Director of Residencies and Residencies Manager to implement arts integrated programs in New York City schools. This role will support all aspects of the LEAP residency model through residency and family workshop scheduling, planning, and ensuring overall program quality. In this administrative role, the residency coordinator reports to the Managing Director of Residencies and collaborates to ensure all residency team needs are met. A successful coordinator will have the ability to effectively manage their time, be highly organized, have the ability to travel to our school partners, and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve Residency departmental goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Report to Managing Director of Residencies to place staff from a pool of 100+ professional teaching artists and activity specialists, specializing in Dance, Music, Drama, Visual Arts, and New Media

Collaborate with Managing Director of Residencies, Residencies Manager, and Residencies Instructional Specialist to communicate with and support all school partners and teaching staff

Manage all Family Engagement Workshops, including: placing artists, scheduling, planning, delivery, pay approvals, and paperwork collection via Salesforce and Google Suite

Manage a small portfolio of arts residencies, including: scheduling, planning, delivery, pay approvals, and paperwork collection/documentation via Salesforce and Google Suite

Coordinate all yearly TA hiring needs for the Residency Team

Culminating event attendance and support throughout the school year in support of Residency team

Support all supply ordering and payroll reimbursements for Residency PT staff

Attend residency staff orientation and professional development sessions and plan/lead trainings for Teaching Artists and/or Activity Specialists when necessary

Collaborate with Residency Education Specialist to observe instructional programming and share constructive feedback to teaching artists, and school partners when necessary

Collaborate and communicate with Partnership Team to assess delivery of and market Family Workshops

Collaborate and communicate with Finance Team to support paperwork collection and billing processes

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in arts education and/or arts administration (required).

Passion for inclusion and advocacy in the arts.

Clear and confident communicator.

A self-starter; someone who is highly effective working independently and within a team.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms).

*Not required but a plus: Strong working knowledge and experience using Salesforce, Zoom, Slack, and Asana.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$55,000 - Commensurate with experience
