Hound Labs is seeking a Product Manager to join our team. This is position will report to the President, Employer Solutions. This position will be the strategic driver of design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements. Must be familiar with and experienced with best practice development initiatives and will provide insight and input into solutions that support the product objectives. 

LOCATION: Remote  

  • Responsible for writing clear and precise technical specifications based on direction from the commercial product team and customer feedback. 
  • Works effectively and individually with Technical and Non-Technical team members and clients  
  • Shares similar mentality as existing team members toward client satisfaction and success  
  • Oversees, and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work  
  • Exercises independent judgment, and takes the lead role with minimal direction  
  • Effectively facilitates meetings, demonstrates brainstorming / consensus building skills, and interacts with the executive and management teams 
  • Can be called on to take a lead role in sales initiatives related to areas of expertise 


Demonstrates the ability to effectively prepare and maintain the following documents / tools:  

  • Business Process 
  • Process Flow Analysis  
  • Product Architecture and Design  
  • Experience working with developers  
  • Requirements Definitions  
  • Detailed Functional Design

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2-5 years’ experience in a related area 
  • Technical background/degree program preferred 
  • Medical Device experience 
  • Start Up experience 
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of the Product team 
  • Ability to learn quickly and think creatively  
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies 
  • Industry experience in drug screening, employment screening industry is a bonus
