ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Manager of Product Marketing is a remote-based position that report to the Director of Corporate Marketing. As Senior Manager of Product Marketing you will be responsible for boldly
designing and directing the commercial product marketing strategies for the fast-growing Hound Labs employer solutions portfolio. You will manage and execute product marketing activities (launches, campaigns, initiatives, etc.) in collaboration with a cross-functional team to ensure market, sales, and customer success sales. Interactions frequently involve influencing senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Be part of team responsible for the development and execution of product marketing strategies to achieve or exceed goals and objectives for the HOUND® MARIJUANA BREATHALYZER and other solutions in the employer drug testing market
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach to help exceed customer expectations
  • Develop launch marketing plans in conjunction with branding, sales, training, and operations that helps to achieve revenue goals while staying within budget
  •  Devise market research to support products, analyze sales and market trends, and synthesize results into relevant plans
  • Manage and create content to execute all product marketing activities
  • Track competitive activities, proactively develop key marketing campaigns, and work closely with regional marketing partners to understand evolving and changing market dynamics
  • Identify and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, professional associations, and advisory boards
  • Connect conference strategy with product marketing goals, manage all national and regional trade shows, and tracks ROI
  • Lead marketing talent development efforts and identify 3rd party partners to ensure required capabilities are in place to successfully execute strategies
  • Advise and guide executive level leadership; develop and deliver executive level communication
  • Expert understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles while looking beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS in marketing, MBA is strongly preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in Product Marketing and/or Communications and at least 5 years of management experience
  • Demonstrated experience producing high quality marketing materials
  • Proven success with project management leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working in an environment with ambiguity is required
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter who can balance ownership of decisions with the need to elevate key details for input and approval
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, role requires proficiency with writing and ability to quickly edit articles, content, and copy
  • Strong interpersonal skills including negotiating, relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and effectively communicate with senior management
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Office products including proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Preferred but not required, experience in the Drug Testing Industry
