Hound Labs is seeking a strategic thinker and exceptional operator to help grow and scale our business. The Senior Manager of Business Operations will partner with key internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic analyses, optimize performance of our business units, and execute upon a variety of strategic and ad-hoc initiatives and plans. You will gain a deep understanding of our company’s business needs and then develop, recommend, and deliver best-in-class execution. This role requires a self-starter with a bias for action who can apply the principals, tools and practical application of strategy to the needs of a growing business. As the Senior Manager of Business Operations, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will have the opportunity to define your role and the impact you will have on the entire company. | | The Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include: -
Drive strategic projects to promote operational improvement, address business needs, and advise on new market and product opportunities -
Develop models, dashboards, and presentations to provide strategic and analytical insights to senior stakeholders -
Research and identify industry trends and key business drivers, translating data into actionable insights Basic Qualifications: -
BA/BS degree in business, engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, economics, or related discipline -
4+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations -
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex analysis into simple and actionable recommendations -
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office/GSuite, dashboarding, modeling, etc. -
Experience leading small teams on strategic projects Preferred Qualifications: -
Practical business understanding, such as driving business transformation or managing a P&L -
Experience in growth strategy in technology, medical, or related industries -
Strong background in KPI, dashboard development / automation, and information systems management -
Strong working knowledge of program management, BI, and CRM software tools -
