Our Biohacking Training & Curriculum Manager will…

works closely with the VP of Experience and Programming to create and implement individual and department-wide training to:

Take member experience to the next level. Provide training and continuing education that ensure our employees’ knowledge base is at the leading edge of science and health technology. Drive membership and product sales. Inform marketing and experiential strategy and engagement

The BTDM is the key driver for B&M store employee processes, programming, engagement, and on-going development to ensure our members always receive an unrivaled luxury fitness, cognitive and recovery experience and our team sees a clear growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities of the position…

Management

·        Oversee the Experience & Programming team responsible for creating, updating, teaching out, and refining Orientation programs, Basic Training School, Continued Education Workshops, and Upgrade certifications

·        Project manage the creation, development, and execution of inspiring, on-brand, strategic educational materials for all levels of B&M employees (Management (GM, AGM), Service (front desk, Biohacker Techs, Biohacker Coaches, Fuel Bar, etc.), Sales, and Customer Service)

·        Manage the operations around recruitment and onboarding of new Biohacking Master Trainers

·        Create and implement new hire evaluation tool to ensure all levels of B&M store employees know KPIs and can measure their performance in relation to KPIs

·        Establish a learning community, on-going education calendar and drive engagement among all levels of store employees

·        Manage the Learning & Development budget related to primary responsibilities and objectives

·        Manage RFP process and oversee the management of selected vendors (i.e., copywriters, videographers, photographers, etc.)

 

Training & Development

·        Assist in the creation of training documents and teaching curriculum for employees

·        Develop education programming strategy, taking into account local market and demographic-specific needs; ensure programs and formats are consumer-oriented, results-driven and support brand initiatives

·        Build tools and strategies to educate managers to enhance personal knowledge, as well as the learning culture in stores

·        Guide the creation of “train the trainers” curriculum as more facilities open throughout the U.S.

·        Create and maintain training records and schedules along with developing assessments, evaluations and procedures that measure the effectiveness of the training/development curriculum

·        This role also assists in the testing of new system functionality and serves as a technical resource for system, process and property questions; they also may participate on project teams to analyze and improve processes driving efficiency and enhancing the guest and employee experience

·        Test new and upcoming products and machines (confirmed and unconfirmed), giving educated feedback to product development and marketing

·        Accredit education with nationally recognized certifying agencies (i.e., ACE, NASM)

·        Assist in the hiring and training of future Labs teammates

·        Develop digital folders for key team documents. Manage and update digital files regularly, including all applicable team certificates

 

Tech Requirements

·        Develop a company online video database, streamlining the way education, sales, and marketing tools and materials are shared with the field team

·        Implement a Field Training Request System and help prioritize tickets

 

Branding & Storytelling

·        Act as the “go to” resource internally and externally for accurate, on-brand information and messaging

·        Acts as an aspirational brand role model, ambassador, and coach; sets the standards of Labs excellence in all areas of education and training.

 

Qualifications are…

 

·        Certified Personal Trainer and/or Group Fitness Instructor (certification by nationally recognized agency such as ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent) and/or related college degree

·        Background in health, fitness, and/or nutrition sciences is a must

·        Knowledge of adult education theory

·        Classroom presentation and curriculum development experience

·        Understanding of the latest instructional design methodologies

·        Ability to interpret scientific papers and white papers and translate for a lay audience

·        Strong communication skills with the capacity to make independent decisions

·        Effectively present information and respond to questions from team, supervisors, and managers

·        Ability to solicit feedback, accept input and analyze success/failure

·        Demonstrated skill in mentoring and coaching others

·        Ability to work under stress; must be available for flexible scheduling

·        Self-motivation and self-starter

·        Accuracy and attention to detail and good organizational skills

·        Stellar writing and communication skills, plus proficiency with Google docs, Excel, PPT and Microsoft Office

·        Ability to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation, and member services
