Our Biohacking Curriculum Developer will…

report to the Training & Development Manager to create and implement individual and department-wide training to:

Take member experience to the next level. Provide training and continuing education that ensure our employees’ knowledge base is at the leading edge of science and health technology. Drive membership and product sales. Inform marketing and experiential strategy and engagement

The BCD is primary content creator of B&M store employee processes, programming, engagement, and on-going development to ensure our members always receive an unrivaled luxury fitness, cognitive and recovery experience.

Key Responsibilities of the position…

Training & Development

·        Carry out training and development project plan, meet key deadlines and milestones to create training documents and teaching curriculum for B&M employees of all levels

·        Audit existing training content, edit/update existing training content, carry out the creation of new written, video and audio training content

·        Assist in video production, audio recordings, zoom recordings, photo-shoots and other content creation projects

·        Assist in developing and training out of master classes for employees

·        Create training content (written, video, audio) that ensures that every employee, regardless of role within our B&M stores, leaves training with an understanding of our brand and mission and has the ability to carry out the key skills and responsibilities of his or her job in a safe, effective, accurate, knowledgeable, and confident manner

·        Demonstrate training mastery around all B&M business roles from Management (GM, AGM), to Service (front desk, Biohacker Techs, Biohacker Coaches, Fuel Bar, etc.), to Sales, and customer service

·        Assist in the training of Biohacking Master Trainers

·        Develop, maintain and train out to Biohacking Master Trainers ongoing content for B&M stores to ensure a continuous, consistent and premiere level of service and knowledge

·        Develop education programs for varied methods of delivery including in-store training, facilitator-led classroom training, point-of-sale coaching, and digital learning

·        Create “train the trainers” curriculum as more facilities open throughout the U.S.

·        Continuous learning and development training to include systems and Upgrade Labs protocols, interpersonal skills, core competencies, products, procedures and processes in a group, individual, and web-based setting

·        Help test new and upcoming products and machines (confirmed and unconfirmed), giving educated feedback to product development and marketing

 

Tech Requirements

·        Develop PowerPoint presentations, video training library, train-the-trainer guides, webinars new store opening guides (written, video, audio)

·        Respond to prioritized tickets Field Training Request System

·        Knowledge of MindBody

 

Qualifications are…

 

·        Certified Personal Trainer and/or Group Fitness Instructor (certification by nationally recognized agency such as ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent) and/or related college degree

·        Background in health, fitness, and/or nutrition sciences is a must

·        Knowledge of adult education theory

·        Classroom presentation and curriculum development experience

·        Understanding of the latest instructional design methodologies

·        Ability to interpret scientific papers and white papers and translate for a lay audience

·        Strong communication skills with the capacity to make independent decisions

·        Effectively present information and respond to questions from team, supervisors, and managers

·        Ability to solicit feedback, accept input and analyze success/failure

·        Demonstrated skill in mentoring and coaching others

·        Ability to work under stress; must be available for flexible scheduling

·        Self-motivation and self-starter

·        Accuracy and attention to detail and good organizational skills

·        Stellar writing and communication skills, plus proficiency with Google docs, Excel, PPT and Microsoft Office

·        Ability to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation, and member services
