Responsibilities:

This role covers all aspects of the production process, from project planning and documentation, to managing relationships with subcontractors and facilitating communication among all stakeholders, both internal and external. The most successful candidates are mature, goal oriented and focused individuals interested in rising in their careers.

·         Building relationships with sub-contractors to meet objectives of cost, quality, and schedule needs.

·         Preparing quotes to define product to all UNEW engineering specifications and quality requirements.

·         Assisting quality department in drafting quality, material, and process specifications.

·         Efficiently draft & prepare estimates for product plans, schedules, and projected spending.

·         Facilitating and actively working to ensure that all quality documentation is accurate.

·         Working with Integrated Product Team environment to identify and develop new materials.

·         Communicating with management & clients to update them on the projects schedule and ensure all/any significant issues are resolved.

·         Working with other departments to provide the highest level of success.

·         Traveling within the US and internationally as required.

Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

·         8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on manufacturing technologies and materials related to manufacturing of IGT hardware

·         Strong background in design or manufacturing engineering, problem solving, and coordination.

·         Familiarity with gas turbines and gas turbine OEM.

·         A strong emphasis on setting and manufacturing to aggressive cost requirements

·         Experience with manufacturing and repair processes such as machining, casting, coating, forging, welding, hole drilling, stem drill, heat treatment, thermal spraying, etc.

·         Working knowledge of Quality Inspection system.

·         Successful Product and Logistic experience.

·         Strong user in the Microsoft Office suite – Project and/or other related software for Gantt charts and for project reporting.

·         Ability to travel within the US and internationally.

·         Due to the nature of this work, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.
