The Network Administrator is responsible for all aspects of systems administration including servers, storage, operating systems, and network security. Working under the supervision of the senior network engineer and the IT Administrator. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing support to in-house and remote users for issues involving network, emails, software and hardware, new device configuration, and troubleshooting;
• Performing scheduled maintenance including system backup, updates, and monitoring;
  
• Managing active directory, servers, domains, DNS, DHCP, and file servers;
• Auditing, documenting, and standardizing firewalls, switches, and servers;
• Providing general support for VPN tunnel;
• Applying updates, patches, and fixes to firewalls, switches, and servers;
• Applying updates and patches to workstation OSes and end-point security solutions;
• Assist with technology planning through ongoing research;
• Participating in, lead, and complete projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Associates degree or post-secondary certificate in IT/Network Administration.
• 2-3 years of network administration experience or combination of the two.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate both in written and spoken form.
