The Pat Tillman Foundation identifies remarkable veterans and military spouses as the next generation of leaders and helps them scale their impact as they enter their next chapter of service beyond self through academic scholarships, lifelong leadership development, and a global community of peers and supporters.
We currently seek a motivated video manager to scale our visual storytelling and help us better grow awareness of the impact that our 750+ Tillman Scholars make in their communities and the world at large, as well as sharing our vision to grow a generation of leaders dedicated to leadership through action and service beyond self.
We understand that people gain skills through a variety of professional, personal, educational, and volunteer experiences. If you believe you have the skillset to succeed in this role, regardless of industry, we encourage you to apply.
Who You Are:
Storyteller. You want to create content that motivates connection and action. You understand the power of storytelling in a community and are energized by finding and sharing the service-driven work of others.
Inspired and inspirational. You love working with people and know how to excite them about the opportunities to engage with the PTF’s work. You love brainstorming to come up with big, inspiring ideas and you bring five years’ experience in visual storytelling, preferably at an agency or in-house brand, to translate those ideas into short- and long-term content.
Highly Organized. You are a deep thinker who can manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately to produce high-quality results quickly and on time. You create clear and logical processes to support your work and that of your team. Your time management is excellent and you hit your budgets.
Collaborative. You find energy in working with others and look forward to partnering within your department or on cross-functional teams to lead storytelling efforts. You believe good ideas can come from anyone and anywhere, and you’re comfortable bringing out creativity in others.
Detail-Oriented Problem Solver. You understand that great storytelling is balanced between planning and creativity. You’re not afraid to build out detailed project plans and triple check everything. You anticipate challenges, you’re solutions-oriented, and you align resources to create a positive outcome without needing permission or hand-holding.
Passionate. You care about making a difference in the world and want to support veterans and their families working at an impactful level across sectors including health, law, business, policy, academia, government, and defense. You want to come to work and feel inspired every day. You want to change the world — and showcase the stories of veterans and military spouses who do just that every day.
