SecureSky is looking for Sales Development Representative(s) who are ready to make a difference as part of a successful sales team. You will be responsible for executing our outbound qualification strategy developed by the Sales & Marketing leadership team to increase the pipeline for our services and platform subscription sales with new prospects in your assigned territory.  

 

SDRs must understand what we do in detail and be able to have meaningful conversations and provide insights to our prospects beyond what is available on our website. You will be responsible for working a series of outbound activity (calls, emails, social, networking) each day to promote and develop prospects and leads that can then be moved into discovery calls and then into the active sales pipeline. You will use all of the communication tools available to you to make your monthly and quarterly goals.  You will be trained on the SecureSky technology and solutions and will be required to speak fluently on how SecureSky can help address customers’ pain points and add value. 

 

SecureSky delivers a complete portfolio of cloud security solutions to help organizations secure their cloud infrastructure. Utilizing proprietary, cloud-native, and third-party tools, we deliver full security visibility, from workloads to the application layer. Our solutions help organizations incorporate cloud security initiatives into a unified security program and deliver business relevant metrics to enable executive and board level engagement. Job Responsibilities: 

  • Articulate the business benefits and value proposition of SecureSky services and products   

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop qualified opportunities that enter our active sales pipeline  

  • Contribute to a performance-driven, metrics-oriented team environment  

  • Work closely with SecureSky resources such as Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Operations to achieve goals and streamline our message  

  • Document all activities, notes, tasks, and calls into our CRM system on a daily basis 

  • Must be able to multi-task and work on many opportunities at once  

  • Learn and stay current with current market trends related to SecureSky products and solution areas 

 

Required Skills / Experience: 

  • 2+ years of sales or sales development experience in a technology company 

  • Experience working in IT, IT Security and or cloud or data center industry highly preferred  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  

  • Must have energy, passion, and enthusiasm to hit your goals 

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change 

  • CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and social networking experience is a must
