We are looking for an individual with proven experience in project management, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing manufacturing projects from design to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Essential Functions
- Effectively project manage identified projects ensuring on time and within budget.
- Research options, design and prepare full budgets for projects together with payback justifications
- Prepare CAPEX forms for Divisional projects
- Review individual plant CAPEXs for site/line improvements
- Prepare project plans for identified projects
- Issue monthly report on the status of open projects
- Report and improve local availability of plant equipment
- Continue the Implementation of “SHIRE” preventative maintenance system
- Ensure local maintenance teams fully adopt
- Hold regular cross-site meetings to share experiences
- Liaise with Kingspan Group peers to ensure we use best practices within the business
- Investigate alternative technologies and evaluate usefulness within our business
- Develop a core divisional engineering team to help support the business
- Ensure each site has mandatary spares on site and critical spares across the division
- Manage and develop graduate projects engineer
- Continually develop own knowledge and team with regular training and certification courses in project management.
- Travel is expected and could be as much as 50%-75%, to manage projects, meet with vendors and attend equipment verification sign-offs.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Masters's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in the business may be acceptable in lieu of this requirement.
- At least eight years of experience in maintenance, quality, and/or manufacturing engineering or management is required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel to meet business and project needs.
- Able to wear prescribed personal protective equipment and appropriate clothing.
- Lift up to 35 lbs.
- Effectively read, write, speak, and communicate in English fluently.
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, crouch, lean, and do other physical movements for extended periods of time.
- Work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment, including noise, extreme temperatures, and humidity, odors, dust, etc.
- Effectively use a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse to complete necessary functions assigned.
Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise environments, chemicals used in the process, and extreme temperatures. The facility is an industrial manufacturing plant.
