Responsible for maintaining existing AWIP cold storage customers and growth of cold storage sales nationally - including insulated panels and under floor insulation.
Essential Functions

Monitor cold storage customer relationships and develop new cold storage customer relationships.

Supervise Territory Managers and/or Independent Representatives assigned to Cold Storage Sales.

Conduct reviews, coaching and sales planning with Cold Storage sales team.
-
Responsible for under floor foam sales and distribution efforts. Act as primary liaison between suppliers and AWIP sales, customer service and shipping departments.

Assist in organizing cold storage marketing:

Coordinate all cold storage trade show and industry meeting efforts.
-
Work with VP Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure the proper advertising and promotion of AWIP products in the cold storage industry.

Be a subject matter expert on all products that AWIP manufactures and distributes. Additionally, be an expert and go-to source for knowledge in the cold storage industry.

Maintain professionalism and expertise during face-to-face visits, customer service efforts and phone and e-mail conversations.

Visit customer job sites to support cold storage sales and customer service activities. Use discretion to coordinate with AWIP outside sales and/or AWIP field services as necessary to handle customer visits.

Prepare and deliver product presentations to developers, contractors, architects and engineers.

Reading construction blue prints, drawings, plans and specifications and prepare estimates.

Creating detailed jobsite visit reports including pictures, description of products being installed, job site environment and report current or possible future issues with the products.

Plan, prioritize and organize travel nationally to facilitate cold storage sales support and customer service.

Education and Experience

Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sale/industry experience.

5 years’ experience in promotion of construction or architectural product.

Professional and polished presentation skills.

Experience in reading construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience.

Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Additional Qualifications

Must possess credit worthiness and a major credit card with a sufficient limit in order to maintain monthly travel expenses until reimbursed by the company.

This position operates from both a professional office environment and a home office environment.

Meetings with customers will take place in offices, on construction jobsites and in public environments such as coffee shops and restaurants.

Primary phone contact will be made by company provided mobile phone.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise environments, chemicals used in the process, and extreme temperatures. The facility is an industrial manufacturing plant.
