GFEBS Senior Consultant

 

Background: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Chemical Biological Center (CBC) is a subordinate activity of the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC). The center is responsible for the conduct and management of research, development, and life-cycle engineering support of defensive systems. The Center’s mission is to develop, integrate, sustain, and dispose of decisive technology-enabled capabilities. Requirements include: (1) Developing materials and technologies for the future; (2) Transitioning technology out of the laboratories and into the hands of the warfighter and customers in the shortest time possible; (3) Completing systems engineering, assessment and analysis; and (4) Providing life-cycle engineering services to development and sustainment efforts.

 

Position Overview: Expert GFEBS Senior Consultant to provide specialized consulting services in the General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS) with a focus on the Funds Control Module (FCM), reimbursable business processes, and other related Army applications. This position requires deep expertise in federal government accounting and Army financial processes.

 

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide expert-level consulting and training on GFEBS applications, particularly the Funds Control Module (FCM) and reimbursable processes.
  • Offer guidance and support to Army personnel in using GFEBS for complex reimbursable operations.
  • Deliver training and support for the Faces-to-Spaces system.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions for Army financial staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal reimbursable accounting procedures.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. 10 years of experience in federal government reimbursable accounting.
  2. 5 years of experience using and training on GFEBS applications.
  3. Expertise in the Funds Control Module (FCM), Faces-to-Spaces, and reimbursable business processes.
  4. Active Secret Clearance required.
