Knowledge Management Officer
Background: United States Army Chaplain Corps builds Army spiritual readiness to deploy, fight, and win our Nation's wars, by providing reliable and relevant world-class religious support, as a unique element of the Army that is fully engaged across the full spectrum of conflict. The Office of the Chief of Chaplains, (OCCH) provides religious services and support to the command as an instrument of the U.S. Government to ensure that Soldiers’ religious "free exercise" statutory rights are protected. This job requires technical, analytical, educational, and administrative services in support of emerging information management requirements for the OCCH and supporting directorates.
Requirements:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer.
- Five years managing KM at strategic level for a similar size organization
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Work experience is not a replacement for a completed bachelor’s degree.
Duties:
- Design and maintenance of knowledge management systems and content for projects and programs that focuses on streamlining processes and support data driven decision-making.
- Work with knowledge management databases for data organization and data mining applications.
- Establish and maintain agile management tools, such as scrum board or Kanban boards, for organizing, monitoring, and measuring metrics of team effectiveness.
- Create and manages user accounts in knowledge management systems, including establishing hierarchies for configuration management and access controls.
- Establish templates for live document management multiple formats.
