Systems Maintenance and Operations (M&O)

Duties:

  • Identify and analyze malfunctions in operational equipment.
  • Use a variety of electronic measuring devices, test equipment, functional block diagrams to subsystem level, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals, to rework, repair and maintain equipment.
  • Track warranty information on all systems still under warranty to include the items identified by part number, serial number, and location.
  • Adhere to computer-based inventory and control record of all issue and receipt transactions.
  • Present monthly invoices, either through the GFEBS SUS or the WAWF system.
  • Revise support materials as required by upgrades/updates of software, equipment, or programs.
  • Provide a Monthly equipment status report on major equipment and communications systems.
  • Conduct Weekly Network and classroom computer systems status.

Background Requirements:

  • Have a working knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, Checks, and Services (PMCS) to ensure the full operational capability of the training systems identified, support equipment, spares, computer hardware, software.
