Role Player Supervisor - Atlantic City, NJ
Summary:
Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking talented individuals in the New Jersey area to work as a Role Player Supervisor to aid the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), and Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) Recurrent Training Programs at the TSA Training Center (TSATC, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC). This position serves a larger team who provides role player services as an integral part of training exercises for the TSA, FAMS, and FFDO. These training exercises are designed to teach FAM and FFDO law enforcement tasks in various realistic situations. Work location is at the TSATC, FAA, and WJHTC, adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport near Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Role Player Supervisors must be able to execute all duties that pertain to Project Management, Project Accounting, Communication, Leadership, Teamwork and be able to fully handle all communication between the Client, the Project Manager, company, and the role players. The Role Player Supervisors may be required to be on-site several weekends throughout the year depending on training requirements. The Role Player Supervisor will assist the Project Manager with all duties and responsibilities as appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Project/Practice Management
Assists Project Manager in all duties for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO), and Canine Training Center (CTC) training.
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Serves as the immediate supervisor for all Role Player Personnel.
Responsible for scheduling the correct amount of Role Player Personnel for events.
Effectively applies TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC training methodology and enforces project standards.
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Reviews the status reports of contract personnel and address issues as appropriate.
Project Accounting
Tracks and reports all man-hours worked and expenses on a weekly basis.
Communication
Holds regular status meetings with the Project Manager and all Role Player Personnel.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Leadership
Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
Inspires Role Player Personnel to attain goals and pursue excellence.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions to the Project Manager for change.
Able to adapt to constant changes.
Teamwork
Effectively utilizes each Role Player Personnel to his/her fullest potential.
Motivates all Role Player Personnel to work together in the most efficient manner.
Keeps track of lessons learned and disseminates all information with Role Player Personnel.
Mitigates Role Player Personnel conflict and communication problems.
Client Management
Aids Project Manager in setting and managing TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC expectations.
Develops professional relationships with TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC Instructor staff.
Communicates effectively with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
Continually seeks to increase TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC satisfaction.
Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess or be able to possess a driving license by the time of hire.
No record or conviction of drug abuse/involvement or alcohol abuse.
No criminal record except minor traffic offenses. Minor traffic offenses do not include driving under the influence.
No conviction of a felony/misdemeanor crime or domestic violence.
Speak, read, and write English at the high school level.
Must receive a favorable “eligibility of determination” suitability checks through the TSA Office of Personnel Security (PerSec).
