Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- managing all contractor and subcontractor performance of contract requirements and coordinate required timelines with the affected Joint Requirements Office (JRO) branch chief(s) and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR);
- the professional development, feedback, and mentoring of the contract staff assigned to the contract; and
- independently managing all aspects of fiscal control, customer service, staffing, product development, and delivery for multiple tasks or projects required to support the client.
Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- At least 15 years’ relevant technical area experience (comparable to a retired LTC/O-5/GS-14 or above)
- At least seven years’ experience as a project lead or project manager
- At least two years’ experience on the Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), a Combatant Command (CCMD) and/or a Service staff
- A demonstrated understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS); Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES); and the Defense Acquisition System (DAS)
- Capability to direct, supervise, and coordinate all technical activities within an assigned project (including directing and conducting program technical reviews with Government customers)
- Knowledge and experience in work planning, work assignment, task scheduling, work progress assessments, technical staff development, all applicable standards, and the technical work products required for each specific task
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree is required; a relevant MS/MA degree is highly desired
- A relevant combination of the above education, directly related experience, and training
