Position Summary
The Medical CBRN Analyst (Senior) will be responsible for:
  • leading medical Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense requirements (including medical countermeasures [MCM] and bio-surveillance) development, including conducting/overseeing Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) and requirements documents (both materiel and non-materiel) in coordination with service and combatant command representatives;
  • organizing and conducting, at least quarterly, an Integrated Concept Team (ICT) meeting with all relevant stakeholders and drafting and providing minutes;
  • supporting the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process and medical CBRN doctrine development;
  • developing and completing Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) to accomplish tasks; and
  • drafting, staffing, and adjudicating requirements documents prior to entering them into Knowledge Management/Decision Support (KM/DS).

Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
  • At least 20 years’ relevant technical area experience (comparable to a retired O-5 or above or a former GS-14 or above)
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Joint or Service requirements development as well as expert level fluency in the Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) drug and biologics approval processes
  • Must be fully conversant with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS)
  • At least five years’ experience on a Joint and/or Service staff
  • A Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline and/or an MD or DVM with CBRN research experience is highly desirable
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A relevant combination of the above education, directly related experience, and training
