SharePoint Support Team Lead

 

Job Description:

Team lead over the SharePoint Support team at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Supervises a team that provides SharePoint administration and solution development support across CECOM. The team directly supports all staff elements SharePoint requirements and provides administrative support to CECOM Major Subordinate Command (MSC) elements. In addition, these services will support the migration of SharePoint 2013 / 16 libraries, lists and solutions to Army Office 365. This service includes modernizing solutions currently in SharePoint 2013/16 to Power Apps and Power based applications.

SharePoint Services include, but not limited to:

·       Site Collection Administration.

·       Site Management.

·       Build environments for creating and testing “out of the box” SharePoint solutions.

·       Create and maintain custom master pages and branding.

·       Configure standard and customized SharePoint team sites, libraries, lists, calendars, etc.

·       Create complex “out of the box” SharePoint solutions in response to user requirements using the following tools and capabilities: SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Workflows, ShareGate, Nintex Workflows, InfoPath Forms, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and CSS.

·       Knowledge of the following tools and capabilities would be useful, but are not required:

o   SQL Reporting Services (SSRS),

o   SharePoint Object Model,

o   SharePoint App Model,

o   Client-Side Object Model,

o   ShareGate and REST API.

·       Create custom web parts.

·       Respond to 2nd level tickets coming into the Issues Tracker for problem resolution, changes to new or existing sites, lists, libraries and solutions.

·       Meet regularly with AEP Team (SharePoint Host Administrators) to discuss issues and resolve problems.

·       Perform analysis and make recommendations for changes to SharePoint infrastructure to improve performance and reduce storage costs.

·       Provide user instruction and training as needed.

·       Work both independently and in a team environment.

 

Qualifications:

·       US Citizenship Required

·       Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) Clearance required, as minimum

·       Three (3) or more years of related SharePoint 2016 or newer experience.
