Course Design and Developer
Summary:
Summit assists the US Coast Guard C5ISC with training system development, technology assessments, process definition, and process improvements. In this position, you will conduct a comprehensive needs analysis and design and develop objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student workbooks, job aids, course outlines, Self-Paced-Learnings (SPeLs), and other course material utilizing the HPT and ISD models and evaluate the effectiveness for all courses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and development of training courses and associated materials will be performed using the Human Performance Technology (HPT), Accomplishment Based Curriculum Development (ABCD), and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology.
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis and design and develop objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student workbooks, job aids, course outlines, Self-Paced-Learnings (SPeLs), and other course material utilizing the HPT and ISD models, and evaluate the effectiveness of all courses.
- Analyze, re-design, maintain current courses and develop new courses.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in the course material design and development or an MS/MA in a relevant field (Adult Education or Human Performance Technology)
- US Citizenship and have a DoD/DHS Government Security Clearance SECRET
- Experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model.
- Experience in Human Performance Technology (HPT) model
- Experience in CG Training Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- One or more of the following skills/experiences:
