MPSC Operations Deputy Program Manager 

 

Position Summary 

The Operations Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the support and operations of prime and subcontractor personnel working in direct support of the assigned contract. This position requires a Secret security clearance, Top Secret preferred.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage the program operations to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including cost, quality and schedules 

  • Responsible for performance, quality control, CDRLs, work schedules, workplace safety, and management of all prime personnel and coordination with subcontractor Program Managers 

  • Coordinate and/or approve local operating and personnel actions, policies, and procedures within the generalized framework of overall corporate and contract guidelines 

  • Monitor the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of time sheet production records 

  • Monitor work procedures, schedules and productivity 

  • Oversee in processing & orientation of all new personnel including standards of employment, safety and security 

  • Provide management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources assignment, performance, morale and overall welfare 

  • Keep the Program Manager informed of situations within the workforce that will impact contract performance 

  • Engage in employee recruitment and workforce maintenance 

 

Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or an engineering related field and 5+ years of experience in Program Management 

  • Familiarity with federal IDIQ contracts that include FFP, T&M and Cost Plus CLINs 

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position 

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to present material to senior government and industry executives 

  • Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships
