Summary:

Provide JCIDS research and writing support to current, new start and Army directed products and initiatives. Current programs are defined as projects with approved JCIDs capability documents that are generally between Milestone A and post Milestone C in the DAS. New start and directed initiatives are defined as projects without approved JCIDS requirements, generally pre Milestone A in the DAS or being procured in innovation rapid acquisition techniques. These requirements may include but are not limited to Movement and Maneuver Exoskeleton requirement as well as the Family of Integrated Tactical Sensors (FITS) requirement, including Soldier Enhancement Program experimentation Also, Leader Follower, Automated Convoy Operations, and the Exoskeleton/Warrior Suit.

 Robotic Applique and Robotic Enablers Qualifications and Requirements:

• A BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, robotics, business management, project management, information systems, or computer science. To qualify based on experience, resume must demonstrate at least five (5) years of specialized UGS requirements development experience, which prepared the applicant to do the designated work.

 • General working knowledge of various types of human engineering and physical performance technology (wearable devices that work in tandem with user). Additional knowledge in the area of power, amplifiers, rigid materials, sensors, actuators and/or powered armor.

 • General working knowledge of various areas dealing with robotic platforms such as artificial intelligence, interoperability, network security, machine learning and collaboration.

 • Potential to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Clearance

·         CLR 101 Intro to Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS)

·         ACQ 101 Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management

·         RQM 110 Core Concepts for Requirements Management

·         DAU Capability Development Level 1 Certification (CLR 250, Capabilities Based Assessment & CLR 252, Developing Performance Attributes)

 Core Competencies:

• Knowledge of DOD acquisition practices to include planning, coordinating and implementing capabilities-based programs and supporting the acquisition of a variety of combat arms and robotics related equipment.

• Knowledge of DOD robotics and autonomous systems/programs, applique and payloads.

• Familiarity with enduring robotic technologies, artificial intelligence, levels of autonomy in unmanned systems and various smart materiel solutions.

• Familiarity with the synergistic integration of mechanics, electronics, and computer technology for the production of enhanced products and systems

• Knowledge of current and future unmanned ground and Aircraft robotic systems and applique, to include, but not limited to, associated doctrine, tactics and techniques of employment.

• Ability to use a systems based process in the development of required systems capabilities, ensuring the successful integration of robotic systems and platforms
