Position: Graphics Editor

Summary:

Support the Doctrine Development Branch, Doctrine Division, Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE). The effort includes duties to write, analyze, research, disseminate, and publish signal, cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, and information advantage doctrine and doctrine-related publications and products. Review doctrine publications and doctrine related products from various organizations for veracity and ensure coherence with CCoE doctrine publications. Develop and include high quality graphics for doctrine publications and related products, briefing, forums, websites, meetings, and conferences. Edit doctrine, doctrine-related products, excerpts for professional publications, and other products for dissemination.


Duties:

·         Provide graphic editing capabilities that will include transformation of photographic and printed materials into drawings, figures and photos usable for doctrine products.

·         Assist in the development of graphics used for presentations by improving the quality, clarity, and size of the graphics enhancing the usability of the document.

·         Provide graphic guidance and assistance to writers to the develop contract deliverables and reports.

·         Prepare drawings of unique, complex or original designs that require a high degree of precision; performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and graphic editing expertise.


Qualifications:

·         Have a minimum of 3 yrs. years of experience in graphic design, editing and photographic digital imaging to plan, and layout and prepare a wide variety of general and technical projects in various forms.

·         Have 2 yrs. experience in developing and maintaining digital images for graphic media library, presentations, multimedia programs and web pages.

·         Have the skills and experience working with computer-generated graphics, commercial graphic art techniques, and DA approved software packages such as Corel Draw, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop in order to produce graphics support for doctrine publications. 

·         Must be capable to touch up graphic and photographic digital imagery and convert computer generated imagery from one software application to another as requirements dictate.
