Job Summary:

The Analysis Division (AD) within the United States Army Futures Command, (AFC) Futures and Concepts Center provides oversight and administrative management of concepts and capabilities assessments, including Cost-Benefit Analyses (C-BA), Business Case Analyses (BCA), and Analyses of Alternatives (AoA). This position will provide cost and effectiveness analysis in the form of C-BA, BCA, and AoA for the FCC within the CDIDs at the Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Centers of Excellence (CoE) as they collaborate to explore solutions to significant warfighting challenges confronting the current Army and the Future Army. This position will provide decision makers with facts, data, and analysis required to make informed decisions. 

 

Related work experience required: 

Two years desired in supporting concepts and capabilities assessments at a CDID. Be very familiar with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and have experience working on previous analyses including C-BA, BCA, and AoA.

 

Education/Degree:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

 

·        Ability to provide analytical rigor to identify, describe, and quantify the benefits and costs associated with proposed warfighting capabilities.

·        Expert in Microsoft products and tools.

·        Ability to work in a government CDID office environment that has multiple business operations occurring simultaneously.

·        Embrace safety principles including adhering to safe work practices and standards while performing daily tasks, taking responsibility for own and coworkers’ safekeeping, and encouraging other to work safely.

·        Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

·        Perform work activities requiring interaction, instructing, briefing, or collaborating with others, including military members, government civilians, and contractors.

·        Ability to work under proactively and respond professionally to guidance from multiple perspectives, including a supervisor.

·        Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.

·        Ability and willingness to learn enhanced analysis techniques.

 

Requirements:

· Must be able to pass necessary background checks to obtain and common access card (CAC) and necessary government accounts.
