Summary:

The property manager performs continual day to day logistical supply functions for 3-353rd Security Force Assistance Course (SFA) contact at Fort Polk, LA.  The logistics subject matter expert (SME) will manage all property via a government approved system, ensures adequate command and supply discipline measures, perform property administration to include acquisition, reception, identification, record keeping, movement, storage, psychical inventory, reporting, consumption, utilization, maintenance, disposal, and contract closeout.  A broad range of property and supply management policies and processes expertise is expected with knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effective and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations. The property manager shall be proficient with AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20; familiar with IUID; working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and any other applicable regulations. The property manager shall be capable of independently analyzing and resolving difficult issues and problems involving supply processes, work methods, or 18 day-to-day operational procedures. The property manager shall possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and written, explain regulations and conduct investigations

 

Required Qualifications:

    • At least two 2 years of experience and knowledge on a broad range of property and supply management policies.
    • 2 years’ experience managing property via a government approved system.
    • Expertise of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effective and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations.
    • Proficient with AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20, familiar with IUID; working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and any other applicable regulations.
    • Capable of independently analyzing and resolving difficult issues and problems involving supply processes, work methods, or 18 day-to-day operational procedures.
    • Possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and written, explain regulations and conduct investigations
    • Capable of providing full life-cycle management plan for all GFP and CAP.
    • An expert in life cycle management planning that is capable of actioning within 30 calendar days after the commencement of the Phase-in Period to the COR for validation and the Property Administrator for approval and can update plans annually to the COR for validation and the Property Administrator for approval.
    • Experience running command and supply discipline programs with detail ensuring all property is hand-receipted and sub-hand receipted to authorized users.
    • Expertise in performing property administration to include the following tasks: Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical Inventory, Reports, Consumption, Utilization/Equipment, Maintenance, Subcontractor Control, Disposition, and Contract Closeout.
    • Provide updated property records to the Property Administrator and COR on an annual basis.
    • Possess an in-depth and current understanding of the missions, functions, and structure of the Army’s Security Force Assistance Brigade; (U.S. Army and Joint operational doctrine).
    • Ability to capture, conduct analysis, and organize collected data to integrate logistics to support training systems.
    • Exceptional writing skills and significant experience in briefing key leadership.
    • Possess experience dealing with other cultures.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of automatic data processing (ADP) equipment, and standard desktop publishing software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), as to prepare briefing materials.

Travel: Travel may be required 25% of the time
