Summary:

Summit Technologies is seeking an experienced Program Manager in support of its Federal Contract Activities at Ft. Benning, GA with the following duties and responsibilities:

• Developing, organizing and managing assigned programs and activities in accordance with Summit’s mission, goals and strategic direction.

• Supervising project(s) fiscal, personnel, contract, quality, and operations management.

• Mentoring and directing Project Leads overseeing a diverse workforce of professional services personnel.

•Conducting program execution, within approved contract scope and budget, to include:

o Committing Summit resources.

o Approving personnel actions.

o Approving/submitting deliverables.

o Representing STI in KO/COR discussions.

o Approving Subcontractor/Vendor Invoices.

o Establish and monitor project schedules.

• Monitoring and controlling expenses within allotted budgets.

• Developing and maintaining program documentation.

• Following and enforce company policies and regulations.

• Utilizing risk identification and mitigation processes.

• Developing input for Summit Operating and Budget Plans.

• Reporting activities and progress to Summit Senior Leadership.

• Conducting pursuit, capture, and proposal development activities of designated opportunities.

• Determining viable targets aligned with the Summit’s experience and core competencies.

• Maintaining long-term client relationships to achieve strategic goals and initiatives.

• Establishing business relationships to supplement Summit’s Core Competencies.

Job Requirements:

• Secret clearance.

• Master's Degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.

• 10+ years program management experience as a field-grade officer (O4-O6), senior noncommissioned officer (E-8 and above) or Senior GS civilian (GS 13 or above).

• Vast knowledge of the Maneuver Center of Excellence and its subordinate organizations and tenant units. • Strong organizational and people skills.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with US Government Contracting.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills.

• Demonstrated ability to defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected development

• Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
