SharePoint Administrator/Content Manager

Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC) mission provides full-service forensic and biometric support (traditional, expeditionary, and reach-back) to Army and DoD entities worldwide. Provide specialized forensics training and research capabilities, serve as Executive Agent for the DoD Convicted Offender DNA database registry commonly known as CODIS, responsible for technical management over the USACIDC criminalistics program, oversees mandatory training and certification of employees and laboratory accreditation, conduct research, development, testing, and evaluation.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or 3-5 years of general experience working with automation systems

• Experience creating and maintaining workflows, training definitions, reports and other application tools ISO maintenance of quality management compliance records

• Ability to serve as a link between vendors and OQIT staff by providing information and guidance on relevant products and services

• Ability to schedule downtime for preventive maintenance and software updates

• Ability to implement application functions for OQIT employees and students.

• Knowledge in designing, publishing, and maintaining automated quality documents.

• Knowledge of web-based databases for the purposes of records maintenance, specifically, Qualtrax

• Ability to maintain application compliance records, email actions, and workflows ISO laboratory accreditation

• Ability to design and integrate new workflow templates

• Ability to design ad hoc queries and reports

• Ability to remain informed on upcoming needs regarding applications and shared network resources and provide pertinent information about the options to assist with making appropriate decisions

• Ability to test network components/applications to ensure that users can access applications on networks

• Ability to interface with software developers to troubleshoot and communicate organizational needs

• General knowledge and/or understanding of quality management practices, to include accreditation requirements

• Skills in managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and refinement of the LMS content

• Ability to collaborate with OQIT Management and Training Manager to establish reporting and performance tracking tools and products

• Ability to run and configure LMS training reports and distribute on timeline established by OQIT leadership

• Ability to maintain in-house training program material and content within the LMS ISO of program effectiveness, continuity, and accreditation requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
