Management Analyst (NGB-J37)

 

Joint Training and Exercise Division (NGB-J37) requires technical knowledge, senior staff experience, education, and skills in the areas of Joint Military and interagency Training, National Guard (NG) Joint Force Development, and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), including support to NGB Army and Air Directorates, the Joint Staff, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise (CRE) elements, specifically Homeland Response Forces (HRF) and CBRN Enhanced Response Force Packages (CERFP).

Duties to include but not limited to:

·         provide capabilities-based planning support, which shall be focused on planning under uncertainty

·         test all visual aid and audio equipment including computers at the venues

·         provide insight and analysis on CBRN Collective training events, schedules and support the Government in developing and promulgating strategic collective training policies in support of Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) and consequence management plans and concepts

·         develop and provide briefings for the CBRN community

·         conduct annual reviews of policy and procedures

·         attend CBRN conferences, coordinate with, and support the trusted agents and planners for national, regional, and local-level exercises

·         coordinate and communicate with AITEC on the schedule of training events

·         provide, publish, and maintain a master training calendar

·         development and implementation of programs to train the JFHQ-State(s), JTFs, and subordinate NG forces (WMD-CST, CERFP, HRF, NGRF, JISCC etc.)

·         review and provide analysis of shortfalls and gaps based on their knowledge of FEMA Regions to ensure training meets requirements

·         conduct National Level Exercises such as Regional, Vigilant Guard exercise series, and National Special Security Events

·         Create and maintain the NGB Joint Training database, collect data from training events and compile dates to complete the report card

Qualifications:

·         advance skills using MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Prior work experience in domestic operations to include Civil Support Teams (CST), CERFP and HRF is highly preferred

·         Secret security clearance

·         seven years’ experience in the subject area
