Test Examiner

Summary:

The Test Examiner administers safeguards and physically controls a wide variety of tests. This worker may arrange for testing rooms and facilities; and become thoroughly familiar with the Examiner's Manual for the test(s) prior to testing. The Test Examiner issues all materials required for test administration, positively identifies all test takers, observes examinees during the test, conducts a page check of each examination prior to and following administration, may compile student assessment reports, and administer make-up tests in accordance with agency or contractual requirements. Testing materials are controlled items and are handled, stocked, safeguarded, inventoried, and administered in strict compliance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain strict control of all testing materials – tests, answer keys, etc.

· Maintain inventory of testing material – order and receive in accordance with program guidelines

· Provide results of testing – log and input in online system

· Maintain Test Examiner required certifications

· Work directly with DoD employees both military and civilian

Minimum Job Requirements (education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities):

· Bachelor’s degree in business, management, education, or related discipline or at least 3 years relevant work experience in administering / proctoring tests

· Test Examiners will be required to pass online certifications which are required to administer exams – there are up to three certifications that maybe required based on the location of this position

· Proficient in English both written and verbal

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required

· Ability to pass a favorable background investigation
