Job Title: Test Examiner/Administrative Support
Location: The Air Force Education and Training Section at McChord Field
Summary: Employee shall be responsible for administering tests in accordance with instructions provided in testing handbooks, test examiner guides, and TCO/ATCO instructions to ensure no possibility of test compromise. Test administration personnel must administer all Air Force Personnel Tests in the Air Force Personnel Testing System under uniform conditions using standardized procedures. The Test Examiner is responsible for administering the following categories of tests to eligible military and civilian personnel and their dependents as authorized by AFIADL, FAA, U.S. Air Force Instructions/Manuals and local regulations (additional tests may be added as needed). The Test Examiner will be required to order, stock, distribute, proctor, mail, receive, or destroy tests and /or related materials in accordance with local procedures, checklists, or guidance from the test owner. The Test Examiner will be responsible for the following Procedures and Guidelines on a daily basis, in accordance with their set schedule.
Duties:
· Administer all AFIADL end of course (EOC) tests including Career Development Courses (CDC), Specialized Courses (SPEC), and nonresident Professional Military Education (PME).
· Administer any test required by the Air Force that is not normally administered through the local military test control officer, such as HAZMAT tests or distance learning technical training exams (Job Site Training - JST).
· Administer Federal Aviation Administration examinations such as the Airframe and Power Plant general, Airframe and Power Plant certification examinations.
· Administer Weighted Airmen Promotion System (WAPS) examinations as specified by Testing Control Officer and in accordance with AFMAN 36-2664, Personnel Assessment Program and Air Force Personnel Test 250, Weighted Airmen Promotion System Test Administration Manual
· Administer Defense Language Proficiency (DLPT) examinations as specified by Testing Control Officer and in accordance with AFI 36-4005, Total Force Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture Program
· Receive and process tests in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
· Print testing roster, pulling appropriate tests/answer sheets, and print student validation prior to the testing session.
· Independently conduct testing sessions, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
· Uses the Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS) to maintain test rosters and schedule students.
· Verifies student’s testing eligibility in CDSAR, AUSIS, TCO Portal, or Prometric.
· Ensures that PME testing scores have been received and posted to CDSAR/AUSIS.
· Administer tests, provide control of the tests and work with both military and civilian agencies that provide, score or otherwise control the tests used.
· Conduct precise inventories and be responsible for test accountability/security.
Qualifications:
· US Citizen and have a baccalaureate degree
· Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills are essential.
· Appropriate related professional work or volunteer experience
· Knowledge of/experience with AF terminology, office procedures, and education programs
· Familiarity/facility with WINDOWS, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
· Must be at least 21 years old, US citizen or resident alien with no criminal convictions.
