Title:  Aviation Military Analyst: (Unmanned Aircraft System Expertise) (CDID)

Location: Fort Rucker

Summary: Aviation Military Analyst: (Unmanned Aircraft System Expertise) supports Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID), Fort Rucker. Preference given to rated Army Aviation Officers, Warrant Officers and Senior Non-commissioned Officers with 12 or more years of operational experience in Aviation positions from company through the strategic planning level of the Army. All contractors shall have been previously rated Army Aviators, UAS Operators, or aviation maintenance specialists and have an extensive working knowledge/understanding of Aviation operations and employment, the JCIDS Process, CONOPS Development, CBA Process, and a thorough understanding of the Army and Joint Concepts, especially the Army Concept Framework. All positions require knowledge of DOD and Army Aviation transformation and require persons to have successfully completed the following DAU courses:

•   JCIDS CLR 101, Requirements Management

•   RQM 110, Capabilities Based Assessment

•   CLR 250 Developing Key Performance Parameters

•   CLR 252, Market Research

Contractor personnel shall possess good working knowledge of computer operations and associated software and specified web-based applications to accomplish all tasks associated with this contract including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows/Office Suite.

Required Qualifications:

·            Must have twelve (12) years minimum Military Aviation experience at the field grade officer or warrant officer or Senior NCO (SFC-CSM) level. Experience in planning, executing, and facilitating DOTMLPF-P assessments and Joint Working Groups.

·            Must be a former rated Senior aviator and/or UAS operator.

·            Must have a combination of experience adding up to at least five (5) years of either conducting UAS capabilities development within a Requirements Management office as described in the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (e.g. CDID or FFID) or operational experience in tactical aviation formations executing UAS operations (e.g. AH-64/RQ-7, MQ-1 aviator/operator, MUM-T experience, MQ-1/RQ-7 unit S-3/TACOPS officer Must be capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required within the scope of the contract.

·            SECRET clearance required.

Desired Qualifications:

·         Experience in DOTMLPF-P Solutions Assessment, UAS Cost-Benefits Analysis, UAS Modeling, Simulation, and Experimentation, and UAS Concept of Operations.

·         Experience in writing at the graduate level as normally expected of the Army Command and General Staff College (Intermediate Level Education (ILE), the Army Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOILE), or NCO professional Development courses (Senior Leaders Course (SLC), Master Leaders Course (MLC), Sergeants Major Course).
