Description:
Provide 13F Instructional Support to the U.S.
Army Fires Center of Excellence, Ft Sill, OK. Provide resident and Mobile
Training Team (MTTs) Advanced Individual Training (AIT) instruction to 13F AIT
students. Conduct academic and simulator instruction; operate and maintain the
Call for Fire Trainers (CFFT) simulators and Deployable Virtual Training
Environment (DVTE); provide input to Government training developers for the 13F
AIT Program of Instruction (POI); maintain and update lesson plans; and serve
as both primary Instructor and SMEs for Close Air Support and Observed Fire Procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom, hands-on,
simulation/virtual, field environment and exercises, combat scenario driven,
and as safety observer (only) during live fire in a realistic and safe
environment.
• Conduct of instruction
supports specialized training requirements or the training of new system IAW
Government provided Program of Instruction (POI) and prepare to teach to
standard the contents of each POI.
• Evaluate students on 13F tactics,
techniques, and procedures (TTP) under field, simulated, and classroom
conditions.
• Administer examinations, evaluate test
results, correlate test results of the students’ ability, and provide
recommendations to academic deficiency panels on changes and student status.
• Analyze individual and class academic duty
performance and provide recommendations for improvement to the appointed
Government representative concerning course materials, methods of instruction,
and performance evaluation when requested.
• Stay familiar with TTPs, lessons learned, and
evolving JFO doctrine and procedures.
• Monitor and operate a simulator as part of the
POI on JFO procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned
equipment IAW the technical manual for each piece of equipment/oversee
management and transportation of field logistical support and manage an
observation post for 13F students with established guidelines, rules, SOPs, and
regulations.
Minimum
Qualifications:
• US Citizen
• Have at a minimum of three (3) years’
experience as a 13F Fire Support Specialist.
• Have one (1) year experience with the Army
equipment within the 13F Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) to perform MOS
related tasks.
• Be licensed to operate the military vehicles
and equipment within 90 days of hire.
• Be qualified on and demonstrate the proper
employment and operation of the listed Army equipment and systems associated
within their area of expertise
