Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking 88M AIT Instructors to support execution of the U.S. Army Transportation School’s 88M training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Responsibilities

Provide instructor services that includes teaching a government approved curriculum for the 88M Motor Transport Operator Course.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as 88M10 or civilian equivalent
  • Commercial Drivers experience or military equivalent
  • Experience teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or other industrial establishment
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • Ability to physically conduct instruction in classroom, simulator, live training, or outside training area.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate
  • Current Missouri Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, with (P) endorsement or ability to acquire within 45 days
  • Maintain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical physical.
  • Moderate lifting (not to exceed 40 lbs.), long period of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to be 88M Course certified within 60 days
