Summit Technologies is seeking personnel who have VMware enterprise level experience, experience planning and leading VMware migrations, experience in optimizing VMware for utilization of SAN storage, experience implementing VMware with different types of storage, experience in migrating large numbers of virtual servers to new SAN arrays without impacting users. Experience using monitoring tools like vCenter Operations Manager, strong verbal and written communication skills, very strong analysis/troubleshooting skills. Employee will perform daily vSphere backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.

Requirements:

·         VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 54 (VCP5) or vSphere 6(VCP6) certification

·         A+ certification for Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT-I) or higher

·         CompTIA Security+ Certification

·         Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) Windows 7 – Configuration certification (or higher)

·         Pass a background check (NACI)
