Position Summary

 

Summit Technologies is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a small team in maintaining and enhancing a SharePoint 2016 Content Management System in support of an Air Force logistics contract.  A successful team member is a self-starter with a firm grasp on OOP, SQL and web design.

Responsibilities:

·        Gathering requirements from our customers.

·        Implementing new functionality and improving current tools.

·        Migrating and upgrading ASP.NET, CMS / JavaScript systems.

·        Maintaining and improvising legacy components using the following technologies:  .NET Framework 4.6, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 5, C#, Entity Framework 6, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MSSQL, Kerberos, PowerShell, Git and SharePoint 2016.

Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements

·        Experience developing with NodeJS / React or experience with .NET Framework 4.6, ASP.NET, C#, Entity Framework, JavaScript, CSS, MSSQL, PowerShell, Git and HTML.

·        Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design, or two years professional experience.

·        Strong background in OOP and secure code development.

·        Must have or / able to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance within 45 days of hire.

·        DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) desired

·        Experience with SharePoint development desired

·        Web UI and/or frontend development experience desired
