Must have the ability to or knowledge of:

·          Create and edit images in Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop, Frame Maker, InDesign, or other software programs.

·          Follow formats, guidelines, and procedures identified by the Government.

·          Conceptualize and produce visual, dynamic elements for Governmental information projects.

·          Demonstrate understanding of instructional design and technical information deliverables and how graphic design and visual elements support the Government/end user.

·          Interpret drawings and prepare sketches defining illustration requirements as necessary.

·          Troubleshoot and test developed products to ensure error free, user-friendly operation.

·          Explain and demonstrate products to client to include technical explanations, guidance, and insight on options available.

·          Maintain archives of all digital files.

·        Media Production and/or Broadcast Journalism. (Degree preferred)

·        Experience in scriptwriting and storyboarding.

·        Understanding of shooting and editing aesthetics.

·          Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

At least three years as an illustrator.
