Principal Engineer LE shall:
• The ISSO supporting LE on day one must have baseline certification in one of the following CAP or GSLC or Security+CE or *CISM or CASP or *CISSP or CISSP-Associate GSEC or GSNA or *GCED or *CEH or CISA; and must have computing environment certification in one of the following CISSP or CASP or CISM or GCED or CEH. Within six months must also obtain certification in one of the following: CISSP or CISM or GCED or CASP.
• Network/Data Engineers supporting LE on day one must have baseline certification in GSEC or Security+CE or CSA+ or GICSP or SSCP or CCNA Security (preferred) or IAT Level III Certification; and must have computing environment certification in either CCNP Security or CCNP R&S. Within six months must obtain CCNP Security or CCNP R&S;
• Systems Administrators supporting LE on day one must have baseline certification in GSEC or Security+CE or CSA+ or GICSP or SSCP or CCNA Security (preferred) or IAT Level III Certification; and must have passed Microsoft Exam 70-410 “Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012”. Within six months must obtain the following 1. Windows = 1 of 2: [pass MS Exam 70‐411 "Administering Windows Server 2012"; or Windows training approved by the CBL IAM/COR] AND 2. VMWare = 1 of 4: [VMWare cert, "VCP6-DCV"; or Udemy training cert, "VMware ESXi and vSphere Admin Tutorial"; ITU training cert, "VMware vSphere VCP 5.5"; or VMWare training approved by CBL IAM/COR ]
• Netops engineers supporting LE have no IA certification requirements.
• Have a minimum of five years’ experience or equivalent in the following areas: IP Networks, Subnetting, Network Security, Voice over IP, Military Tactical Radios.
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
