Senior Principal Systems Engineer RHN-E shall:

• Possess DoD 8570.01 / 8140 IAT level II baseline certification requirements, currently CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA Security. Update certifications as required.
• On day one must provide verification of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or CCNP R&S.
• Senior Principal Systems engineers within the RHN-E that also perform System Administration Assistant duties must have on day one certification in A+CE or CCNA-Security or Network+ CE or SSCP or Security+CE (preferred) or other IAT Level II or III certification.
• Have a minimum of ten years’ experience or equivalent in systems engineering SATCOM Hub Nodes. This includes experience providing centralized network operations and management to include the preparation and processing of Satellite Access Requests and Alternate Satellite Requests.
• Possess skills/knowledge of the following DoD networks NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, NSANET or other networks used to support experimentation.
• Experience in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure prompt error correction steps can be taken when necessary.
• Skills at hardware resource allocation between modems, routers and multiplexers in the preparation of mission cut-sheets.
• Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
