SUMMARY

This position is in Fort Benning, Georgia peoviding support to the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (CDID), Soldier Division (SD).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development, writing, staffing, and adjudication of “Soldier” JCIDS documentation to include Capabilities Based Assessment (CBAs), Initial Capabilities Document (ICDs), Cost Benefit Analysis (C-BAs), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Architecture Products, DOTMLPF-P Change Recommendations (DCRs), Capability Development Document (CDDs), CDD Upgrades, and Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment Production Documents (OCIE PDs)
  • Provide support for the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC), Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) briefings, and respond to information requests for Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), Armor Brigade Combat Team (ABCT), and future technologies
  • Assist with other capability development, doctrine, training and architecture development tasks including the preparation of draft tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); threat assessments, development and execution of training plans, and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP) for the PoRs
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the different assigned PoR’s supporting the TRADOC CoEs, TCMs, and Program Executive Offices (PEO)
  • Prepare MCoE Industry Day presentation slides to share objective Soldier requirements with industry in order that industry can present potential solutions to Soldier requirements
  • Participate in MCoE’s annual Science and Technology Collaboration Workshop to Share Soldier Gaps with Army Labs and shape upcoming technology demonstrations to satisfy those Gaps and gain the best value Army Lab technology demonstrations
  • Support all PoR’s in their development, testing, integration, fielding, training and sustainment with the Project/Program Manager office. Support the development of modular capabilities that are fully integrated to help meet the Soldier’s changing mission requirements based upon Unified Land Operations or complex environments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Combat Capability Developer
  • Must possess a SECRET Clearance
  • At a minimum have completed the following Requirements Management Certification Training: CLR 101, “Introduction to JCIDS” and RQM 110, “Core Concepts for Requirements Management”
  • Achieved Level 1 certification in Program Management or having a certificate of completion of the Army Combat Developments Course (ALMC-CD, Fort Lee)
  • Possess situational awareness of the military historic, current, and future warfighter systems supporting ABCT, SBCT, and IBCT
  • Understand the current threat environments, current capabilities, and have knowledge of lethality, mobility, tactical operations, and survivability in all weather and terrain environment
