Summit Technologies is looking for a mission planning subject matter expert (SME) to support USAF mission planning activities at our Hill AFB operating location. 

A candidate hired to this position will be responsible for establishing subject matter expertise in several USAF mission planning software packages, to include validation of installation instructions, managing fielding efforts, and troubleshooting/reporting of problems.  Additionally, he/she will be responsible for supervising and training approximately 30 geographically dispersed System Support Representatives (field representatives) and support their efforts in deploying, updating and maintaining mission planning hardware and software at the base level.

Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s Degree desired.  Experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• Knowledge of USAF mission planning processes and mission planning applications desired. 
• Experience in client level IT administration. 
• Knowledge of DoD and USAF IT security requirements.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Must have a minimum of a Secret DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA Security+ (required within six months of hire)
