Position Summary
Support onboarding and alignment of space mission systems to the U.S. Space Force Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP). This role coordinates alignment requirements, schedules, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and compliance activities, deployment priorities, and operational acceptance so mission systems enter CSSP support in a controlled and mission-ready manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide mission system owners and stakeholders through the CSSP alignment and onboarding process from request through operational acceptance.
- Prepare, manage, and track CSSP Alignment Request Forms, schedules, dependencies, and coordination actions.
- Maintain alignment requirements as mission systems, services, policies, and operational conditions evolve.
- Coordinate RMF, authorization, and cybersecurity-compliance information needed to support alignment decisions.
- Support development of deployment priorities, implementation sequencing, and operational acceptance plans.
- Identify alignment risks, issues, and gaps early and drive actions to resolution with Government and mission stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate, error-free alignment records and status information that support mission readiness.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant cybersecurity/IT experience, including 3+ years supporting RMF, CSSP alignment, system authorization, or comparable system-onboarding activities.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity compliance, authorization artifacts, and stakeholder coordination in DoD environments.
- Ability to manage multiple mission-system actions, schedules, and dependencies with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DoDM 8530.01 and U.S. Space Force CSSP alignment policies.
- Experience supporting operational acceptance of DoD mission systems.
Note: The anticipated salary range for this contingent upon award position is $130K-$150K annually. The final offered salary will be determined by the candidate's specific qualifications, relevant experience, location, and the final funding level approved by the client upon contract award.
