Senior Military Analyst / Deputy CIG (Commander’s Initiative Group)

Job Summary

The Senior Military Analyst / Deputy CIG supports strategic planning and communications for AVCOE leadership. This role helps synchronize messaging, strategic initiatives, and executive communications across the aviation enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of AVCOE strategic communication plans.

  • Coordinate strategic messaging with leadership and stakeholders.

  • Support preparation of executive briefings, speeches, and strategic documents.

  • Assist with drafting communication products including articles and reports.

  • Coordinate across organizations to align messaging with aviation modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience with strategic planning and communications

  • Strong writing and policy development background

  • Experience supporting senior government leaders

  • Active Secret clearance required

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Army planning, aviation operations, or similar senior military staff roles.
