Military Analyst (Operations & Plans Section)

Job Summary

The Military Analyst provides operational planning and coordination support to the AVCOE G-5 Operations and Plans Section. The analyst supports aviation enterprise synchronization, meeting facilitation, and strategic planning activities across Army aviation organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of aviation enterprise synchronization events.

  • Prepare briefing materials, read-ahead packages, and meeting documentation.

  • Develop decision briefs, white papers, and information papers.

  • Track meeting actions and distribute meeting minutes within required timelines.

  • Assist in coordinating AVCOE planning conferences and strategic meetings.

  • Support foreign liaison officer engagement activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Army or DoD operational planning

  • Strong analytical and writing skills

  • Experience developing PowerPoint briefings and staff products

  • Active Secret clearance required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in military operations, planning, or related analytical support.
