Summit Technologies is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a small team in maintaining and enhancing a SharePoint 2016 Content Management System in support of an Air Force logistics contract. A successful team member is a self-starter with a firm grasp on server management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete configuration, installation, and support of Active Directory in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Design, implement, and monitor GPO policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and desktop related issues when contacted by both internal and external customers by providing both on-site and remote support
- Security, server updates/patching.
- Maintain software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance
- Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside customers and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
- Maintain system backups and recovery software and disaster recovery plan
- Any other duties as assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of experience in system administrative role
- Technical, analytical, interpersonal, and organization skills required
- Administrative knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, workstations, MS Exchange, VMware, Sharepoint, and other various software applications
- Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- CompTIA Security+
- Must have, or able to obtain, a SECRET security clearance
Working knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2016 or above
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Exchange Administration
- Microsoft Sharepoint Administration
