Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is a statewide organization that strives to enable Illinois soybean producers to be the most knowledgeable and profitable soybean producers in the world.

The Guest Services Associate serves as a point of contact and link between employees, internal departments, and external parties, including vendors, contractors, and board members. Handles clerical and administrative duties; provides support to all guests and assists with event needs, and ensures that the office operates smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Greets guests using interpersonal communication skills to facilitate services and deliver a world-class guest experience.

·         Monitor all activities in and out of the building lobby.

·         Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails.

·         Schedules and coordinates appointments and meetings for all board/conference rooms in the facility.

·         Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events.

·         Deliver all mail and packages to ISA staff.

·         Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.

·         Serves as a backup minute taker for meetings.

·         Accommodate general and unique requests as needed.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

·         Three-five years of experience in office administration/customer service

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

·         Associates degree in related service industry.

 

Physical Requirements

·         Normal office working conditions.

·         Must be available to travel offsite for meetings/events when necessary.

·         Must be available after hours and on weekends to troubleshoot problems that may arise.

·         Some physical demands – may need to lift between 35-50 lbs.
